Job summary

Allied Universal in New York, NY is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol to safeguard clients across government and other facilities. You will perform unarmed/armed patrols as required, maintain visibility, and provide courteous service while following location policies and incident reporting procedures.

Minimum requirements include a NYS Security Guard License, at least 1 year of security experience, HS diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and individuals receiving services according to security procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and disturbances, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, entry points, and perimeter to identify hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and document incidents and daily activity reports.
• Communicate clearly with diverse populations and follow de-escalation and reporting protocols.
