Job summary

Allied Universal in Sacramento, CA seeks a Part Time Security Officer – Patrol Driver Communications to protect facilities and support a safe environment for employees and visitors. This unarmed role combines customer service with driving duties across a distribution site.

You will conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents, with flexible day/evening shifts. A valid driver's license is required; Guard Card is a plus; training provided; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity, and report concerns to site leadership.
