Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer in California, MD to protect people and property at a technology, media, or telecommunications location. The role emphasizes customer service, vigilance, and adherence to site procedures, with an active DoD Secret Clearance required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, or telecom location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular patrols of offices, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials per site procedures; maintain logs and incident reports.
• Communicate observations and maintenance concerns with site personnel and leadership.
