Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part Time Security Officer for a badge check patrol in FOREST, MS. You will patrol, deter incidents, and assist with access control while delivering excellent customer service.

This unarmed role requires lifting up to 20 pounds, strong reliability, and compliance with background checks and drug screening. Schedule includes Thursday and Friday nights as shift options with a competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and facility issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for personnel and visitors, and support visitor and contractor check‑in procedures.
• Observe food and beverage facility operations for compliance with site rules and report potential concerns involving restricted areas, equipment, or deliveries.
