Job summary

Allied Universal in Aurora, CO is seeking a Security Officer – Logistics Center (Part Time Enhanced) to deliver reliable security at a busy logistics site. You will have fixed anchor shifts and may earn more by picking up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

Salary is $20.49 per hour with a schedule including DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM. Responsibilities include security procedures, patrols, access control, incident response, and detailed reporting.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities accurately in required reports and logs.
