Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Part Time Enhanced position at a logistics center in Denver, CO. The role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings, and a starting pay rate of $20.07 per hour.

The position requires a six-month anchor shift commitment, with potential to scale hours up to 40 per week. Responsibilities include access control, patrols, incident response, and accurate reporting to maintain site security and safety.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Possess a Guard Card or license, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors according to site procedures, and maintaining required entry and exit records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns through clear and accurate reports, while supporting compliance with site procedures.
