Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer at our Commerce City, CO distribution center. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts for higher earnings, while providing customer service and security at a busy logistics site.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to facilities, yards, gates, and restricted areas by verifying credentials, reviewing visitor and contractor authorizations, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian activity; report unusual conditions, access issues, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations; document observations and complete required reports.
