Under the supervision of the Director of Campus Safety, the Campus Safety Officer is responsible for making routine patrols of the campus, completing daily logs, and preparing incident reports. Officers conduct initial responses and investigations of campus incidents, coordinate with emergency responders, and report safety hazards. They may also fill in at a gatehouse and may need to stay beyond scheduled hours during emergencies. All activities contribute to the university's mission.
High school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of security experience. Valid guard card, First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications required.
Part-time, non-exempt position at $21.70/hr. Entry level.
