Job summary

Allied Universal in Allentown, PA seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time to provide reliable, flexible coverage at a healthcare rehabilitation site. You will greet people, manage access, and respond to incidents while maintaining confidentiality and a welcoming environment.

The role offers anchor shifts with six-month commitment and optional additional shifts to increase earnings, up to 40 hours per week as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background investigation required by law.
Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at the front desk of a healthcare rehabilitation location by greeting patients, visitors, staff, and vendors and directing them appropriately.
Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor credentials and/or appointments, and maintain visitor records.
Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
Maintain a welcoming environment by observing lobby activity and deterring unauthorized access.
Communicate clearly with site staff, patients, visitors, and leadership while completing reports and maintaining confidentiality.
