Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and vendors per site procedures and emergency response plans.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of hospital facilities and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management and directions.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations to supervisors.
