Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Operations in Taylor, PA. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, providing flexibility and income stability while supporting a path toward full-time opportunities with the industry leader.

Pay rate is $18.73 per hour, with a schedule including Sundays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Qualifications

Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation required by law.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following security procedures and site policies.
Monitor and control access by verifying credentials and maintaining access records.
Screen vehicle traffic, check delivery docs, and direct drivers to designated areas.
Respond to incidents calmly and report concerns through proper channels.
Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
