Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Access Point Monitoring Security Officer in Taylor, PA to monitor entry points, verify credentials, and maintain a safe environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries.

You will deliver outstanding customer service, follow site-specific policies, and collaborate with a team to deter incidents, with a flexible weekend schedule and earning $18.73 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, processing visitors, documenting entries and exits, and directing authorized personnel, contractors, and drivers.
• Support the management of vehicle and delivery access by monitoring entry points, communicating with site personnel, and reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and promptly communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter, while documenting security-related observations and conditions.
