Job summary

Allied Universal in Trenton, NJ is seeking a Security Officer Licensed Unarmed Patrol to safeguard patients, visitors and staff across healthcare locations. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and provide professional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

This part-time role features daytime schedules, a pay rate of $19.84 per hour, and the chance to join a team that values integrity, teamwork, and growth through our training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of security-related experience.
• State, county, or city-issued security-related license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
