Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced (Unarmed) in Galveston, TX. The role offers fixed shifts with anchor commitments and opportunities to earn more via additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

Responsibilities include guest and staff security, patrols, access monitoring, and timely reporting. The position emphasizes flexible scheduling, potential for growth, and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.

Competenze

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate hotel personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned hotel property to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe for unusual activity or hazards, and report security‑related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, while providing a courteous, welcoming presence in a hospitality‑focused environment.
