Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Houston, TX. This role offers flexible shifts, with a fixed anchor schedule and opportunities to pick up extra shifts across sites, helping you earn more while gaining hands-on security experience.

The job pays $16.00 per hour, with a daytime schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Responsibilities include customer service, incident response, and unarmed patrols to ensure safety and compliance at the retail site.

Formación

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards, helping to deter theft, vandalism, and other policy violations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
