Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Springfield, OH. This role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

The position requires greeting visitors, monitoring access, and delivering professional customer service in a technology, media, and telecommunications environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as per law
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, employees, contractors, and delivery personnel in a professional manner.
• Monitor visitor access, validate identification and authorization, issue and collect visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Support access-control and reception operations for a technology, media, and telecommunications location, including directing guests and communicating visitor arrivals to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site-specific security procedures and escalating concerns to appropriate contacts.
• Maintain awareness of front-desk activity and report unusual or concerning behavior to leadership and site management.
