Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in South Bend, IN to provide security and customer service at a designated site. The role offers reliable, fixed shifts with optional extra shifts through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program and a pay rate of $18.20 per hour.

Responsibilities include following site-specific policies, responding to incidents calmly, and conducting regular patrols. This position supports part-time schedules with potential full-time growth.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicant drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
