Job summary

Allied Universal in Garfield Heights, OH is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Operations to provide flexible, reliable hours at an assigned site and earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

The role offers a pay rate of $16.00 per hour, with fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts to build experience across multiple sites, supporting a part-time schedule with potential to reach up to 40 hours per week when needed.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required where applicable.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations calmly and according to procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions and adherence to entry procedures.
• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and relay information to relevant personnel.
