Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Entry Management in Elgin, TX to provide reliable, flexible hours and support at an assigned site. The role offers opportunities to earn more through the pick‑up shifts program and to build a full‑time schedule if desired.

Pay rate is $17.22 per hour with a fixed shift and optional additional shifts across multiple sites. Candidates should have at least one year of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and be at

Qualifications

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, access‑control requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a location; verify credentials, authorize visitor access, and maintain access records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the perimeter to identify irregular conditions and support access procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and logs for access‑control events, incidents, and other security‑related observations.
