Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Screening in West Finley, PA. This role offers reliable hours at a fixed site with the option to pick up extra shifts to boost earnings, paying $18.00 per hour.

The schedule runs from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM, with a six-month anchor shift and opportunities to grow within the company. Ideal for individuals seeking flexible, part-time work with stability and room to move toward a full-time schedule while serving our clients

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization credentials, maintain visitor logs, and issue or collect access badges and/or keys in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-related activities accurately and completely, and coordinate with site personnel and responding agencies as directed.
