Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Tulsa, OK. This role offers flexible hours with a fixed anchor shift and opportunities to pick up additional shifts, up to 40 hours per week.

Pay is $25.86 per hour with a part-time schedule (Mon/Tue/Sun 4:00 PM–12:00 AM). Candidates should hold a Corrections Officer License and be 18+; background checks and a drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Possess a Corrections Officer License.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at government locations.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security‑related activities, following Allied Universal and site‑specific procedures.
