Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced, Part Time, in Somers Point, NJ. This flexible, part-time role offers reliable hours with a fixed anchor shift and an option to pick up additional shifts to earn more.

The position includes a base pay rate of $17.50 per hour and a schedule that may include evenings with potential for growth within a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized access or disruptive behavior.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
