Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for Swedesboro, NJ. The role offers flexible hours and a fixed anchor shift with opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The position requires a minimum of 2 years in security, a high school diploma, and eligibility for required licenses. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• State/county/city-issued security license preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related records for a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, operational concerns, and security-related observations.
