Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Sayville, NY. The role offers reliable, fixed weekly shifts with opportunities to pick up extra hours through our scheduling platform.

The position pays $23.12 per hour, with a daytime schedule Tue-Thu 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, designed for flexibility and income stability while building experience in a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by following site procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies calmly and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, classrooms, and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures.
• Document patrols and incidents in accordance with reporting requirements.
