Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Savannah, GA. You will serve tenants, visitors, and vendors, performing security procedures and emergency responses at a commercial real estate site.

The role offers flexible day-time shifts (Fri 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM, Sat 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM) and opportunities for training, growth, and employee perks. A valid driver’s license is required for driving assignments and you must meet minimum experience criteria.

Qualifications

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
Drug screen as required by law.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, following visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures as directed.
Document patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
