Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer in San Antonio, TX to monitor and protect a financial institution location. You will perform unarmed patrols, provide customer service, and follow site procedures to deter incidents.

Requirements include at least 1 year of security experience, HS diploma, and ability to obtain required licenses. This role offers part-time hours with a day/evening schedule and opportunities for growth through Allied Universal training.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
