Job summary

Allied Universal in San Antonio, TX is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Patrol to provide customer service and perform unarmed patrols at a manufacturing site. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with a schedule of DayTime Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM and opportunities to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

The position pays $16.68 per hour and requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma, background checks, drug screening, and valid licensing where required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screening required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and report maintenance, access control, and other security-related concerns to site leadership.
