Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and hotel staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report unusual conditions or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to hotel management and Allied Universal leadership.
