Job summary

Allied Universal in Pendleton, IN seeks a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer to provide reliable, site-based security services. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with six-month commitment, plus optional additional shifts to boost earnings through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

Pay rate is $17.51 per hour, with opportunities to grow within the industry leader. Responsibilities include customer service to site personnel and visitors, patrolling manufacturing and industrial areas,

Qualifications

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials as directed, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
