Allied Universal is seeking a part-time security professional in New York for a fixed anchor shift with a six-month commitment. The role offers a scheduling platform to pick additional shifts across multiple sites to increase earnings while maintaining a reliable base schedule.

Responsibilities include maintaining site security, patrolling, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and documenting activities for leadership.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, residents, staff, and service providers while following site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and maintain awareness of who enters and exits.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly and following established protocols; contact appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Document observations and patrol activities in reports and communicate information to site leadership.
