Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Deterrence in NEW YORK, NY. You will provide customer service, perform patrols, and enforce site procedures at a government services location.

The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, and a path toward fuller-time opportunities within the industry leader. Salary reflects part-time hourly work.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• State/city security license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/regulation.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally, documenting observations through required channels.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
