Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Guard (Unarmed Patrol) in Monterey, CA. The position offers fixed Friday night shift with the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform to increase earnings while maintaining flexibility.

Responsibilities include patrolling, enforcing site policies, responding to incidents, monitoring access points, and reporting activities. A customer‑service mindset and a guard card are preferred; applicants must be 18+ and pass background

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include a customer service background.
Guard card or license preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screen required.
Licensing requirements may apply.
Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, observing and reporting unusual conditions or activities.
Monitor access points and support adherence to site‑specific entry and visitor procedures.
Complete required daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
