Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Lubbock, TX. This position offers fixed anchor shifts with the flexibility to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, helping you earn more while gaining hands-on security experience.

Responsibilities include customer service, patrols, access control, incident response, and maintaining professional communications with site leadership. Minimum requirements include age, education, and background checks.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while enforcing security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and report unusual activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations, actions taken, and relevant details.
• Support a professional environment by coordinating with staff and emergency responders.
