Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced for an Austin, TX location. The role offers flexible, anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform, and a pay rate of $21.00 per hour.

The position supports customer service, site security procedures, and incident response. A valid driver’s license and 2+ years security experience are preferred, with licensing and background checks as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check per laws; drug screen as required.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random foot/vehicle patrols of facilities and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; direct guests to locations.
• Respond to incidents and alarms; document observations and notify relevant personnel.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports; communicate during shift handoffs.
