Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for Corpus Christi, TX. The role offers flexible shifts within a fixed anchor schedule and the chance to earn additional hours through our scheduling platform.

The position requires at least 1 year of security-related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and comfort using a computer or tablet. Training and advancement opportunities are available along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort with computer or tablet use.
• Ability to lift over 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate daily activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and disruptive behavior through a visible professional presence and timely reporting.
