Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time for a Los Angeles, CA site. The role offers reliable fixed hours with the option to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $21.00 per hour with a six-month anchor shift commitment and opportunities to scale up to 40 hours weekly. The position requires security experience, access control familiarity, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Criminal history considered in line with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property reps according to site policies and emergencies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking, access points, and perimeters.
• Monitor access and verify visitor/contractor authorization per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly; document observations and actions.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications.
