Allied Universal in Lakewood, NJ is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Management to provide reliable access control at a residential community. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts.

You will verify credentials, monitor entries, respond to incidents, and communicate with residents and management. Pay is $17.50 per hour, with part-time hours and a path to full-time through training and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law and company policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by conducting site-specific access procedures and maintaining records.
• Monitor entry and exit activity; verify credentials and manage access-related records.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner and follow reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of community entrances and common areas to identify security concerns.
• Communicate with residents, guests, property management, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents.
