Job summary

Allied Universal in Ladson, SC is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) to serve clients at automotive locations. You will patrol, screen access, and deliver courteous customer service while maintaining a visible security presence and following site procedures.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of automotive facilities and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials and documenting visitor and contractor entry.
• Observe and report unusual conditions or hazards through incident reports and shift documentation.
