Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screening Verification in Indianapolis, IN. The role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up extra shifts for increased earnings.

Typical pay is $17.22 per hour, with a schedule that includes DayTime shifts. This position supports customer service at a logistics site and requires screening of personnel, visitors, and packages.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or shipments in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures.
• Monitor entry points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading docks and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
