Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced at our Houston site to provide reliable security coverage with fixed shifts and optional additional shifts through the scheduling platform. The role offers the opportunity to earn more by picking up extra shifts and building experience across sites.

Pay rate is $15.00 per hour. A valid driver’s license is required; a Guard Card/License is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail location.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents and daily activities per reporting procedures.
