Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Houston, TX. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, giving you flexibility while maintaining a steady base schedule.

Responsibilities include protecting a chemical and petrochemical facility, responding to incidents, patrolling, and documenting access. A TSA TWIC and a valid driver’s license are required for this location.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law; drug screen may be required.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment; driving positions require a valid license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor and document access activity, visitor and contractor entry, and unusual conditions.
• Report hazards and security concerns to site personnel and leadership.
