Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Access Monitoring Flex in Glendale, AZ, offering a part-time schedule with reliable fixed anchor shifts. The role emphasizes monitoring access, responding to incidents, and maintaining security protocols at a financial institution.

The position pays $22.62 per hour with opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts on our scheduling platform. Candidates should have at least 2 years of security experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify management, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site requirements.
