Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in Baltimore, MD. This role offers reliable, fixed hours at an assigned site with flexibility to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform. Pay rate is $20.14 per hour.

This position supports government transportation facility access control and routine patrols. The role requires a minimum 21 years of age, a high school diploma, and successful background checks; driving positions require a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government transportation facility.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, buildings, parking areas, waterfront access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document entries, incidents, and observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as required.
• Maintain a professional presence to help deter unauthorized access, support orderly operations, and provide assistance or directions to visitors and personnel.
