Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in the United States to provide customer service, patrol duties, and access control at a designated site. The role offers a fixed anchor shift with a six‑month commitment and opportunities to claim additional shifts across multiple sites to increase earnings. Base pay is $13.40 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and a path to full‑time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, office spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site‑specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities through clear and timely reports.
