Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Columbus, OH to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with flexibility to earn more.

Pay rate is $19.50/hour. Fixed-Shift Commitment and Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program allow picking up extra shifts across multiple sites to increase earnings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal and local laws.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity in accordance with site policies, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established procedures and contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when appropriate.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and shift documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities.
