Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Enhanced in Chesterfield, MO. You’ll deliver reliable security coverage with fixed shifts and opportunities to pick up extra hours through our scheduling platform.

Earn $19.63 per hour, with a base Friday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift and potential to scale hours toward a full-time schedule. Join a team focused on safety, service, and customer excellence.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assist with credential verification, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
