Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in Saint Peters, MO to provide dependable, fixed-hour coverage with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the Earn-A-Shift program. Pay is $18.85 per hour with a schedule including Friday nights and potential for more hours via our scheduling platform.

This role offers part-time hours, site-based work, and pathways to build toward full-time opportunities while maintaining income stability and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities, including exterior areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and potential security-related issues in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while supporting access-control and visitor-management procedures.
