Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Alarm Panel Surveillance in Bethlehem, PA. This role offers reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with opportunities to earn more through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program and a fixed anchor shift schedule.

The position pays $17.00 per hour with daytime night shifts listed as DayTime Sat 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM, and requires minimum requirements including HS diploma and background check.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, issue and collect visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, loading areas, and parking locations to identify and report security-related concerns.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and support orderly operations within a temperature-controlled commercial facility through professional communication and adherence to established procedures.
