Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Auburn, WA. This role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts via our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $22.00 per hour, with a schedule that includes day and night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM–6:00 AM). The job offers a fixed anchor shift plus a pick‑up shift program to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security‑related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail store, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to store personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, monitor designated areas, and complete accurate activity and incident reports.
