Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Flex Part Time Patrol Driver in Auburn, WA. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts. The pay rate is $22.85 per hour, with a schedule of Friday nights into Saturday mornings.

The position emphasizes reliability, safety, and responsive service to customers and store teams. The candidate will perform patrols, monitor access points, complete incident reports, and follow site procedures while maintaining professional

Qualifications

At least one year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to store customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to deter theft and unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns according to site-specific procedures.
Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
Complete accurate reports and maintain clear communication with store management and Allied Universal leadership.
